[ FLOWER SHOP ]

Salt Flower is a flower shop in The Mill District in Amherst, MA. We have flowers, of course, but we also stock some of our favorite things: vases, skincare, great little gifts, and grab-and-go bouquets for whenever you need something beautiful in a hurry.

We design flowers for weddings and events across New England, too. Our work is modern, color-driven, and intentional, built around each client and the space they've chosen — flowers less as decoration than as part of the room itself, something you feel as much as see.

Whatever your style, classic or current or somewhere in between, the goal is the same: you walk into the venue and everything you pictured is there, except better than you pictured it.

[ DESIGNER ]

I'm Laura Mae Pfeffer, owner and lead designer. For eight years I've designed flowers for weddings and events across New York City and New England, as Until We Wed Flower Co. When I opened the shop, the old name no longer covered what we do, so we became Salt Flower. My work has been featured in The New York Times and The Boston Globe.

I love the translation of flowers — taking a feeling, a palette, or a half-formed idea and turning it into something tangible and beautiful.

When I’m not working with flowers, you can find me on adventures with my two little kids, swimming, or driving around town in my '87 Volvo station wagon, which is still in fantastic shape.
